The Minnesota State Fair is a fun and exciting place to visit with your family and friends. It has all sorts of attractions. It has food, rides, and even a Miracle Of Birth Center petting barn. The food is always delicious, the rides are awesome, and the animals are super cool. The Minnesota State Fair is definitely one of the best places to visit in Minnesota!
The Minnesota agricultural society was founded in 1854 with a mission, they wanted to represent Minnesota agriculture by having an annual fair. The first one was presented in Minneapolis in 1859. Statehood was granted in 1858. The fair moved to what is now St.Paul in 1885. The record the most people attending the Minnesota State Fair in one year is 2,046,533 people. This record was set in 2018.
One of my favorite things to do at the State Fair is to eat. The State Fair is best known for its food. One thing I recommend is Sweet Martha’s cookies. It is one of the best things they have there. They melt in your mouth and the chocolate tastes so good. It is even sold in a bucket! Once you eat one, you can’t stop!
One of the best things that ever happened to me at the State Fair was riding The Great Big Wheel. It took me 156 feet above the ground! It even had an over half a million Decorative lights! I felt like I could see all the way around the world! It is portable so It goes from fair to Fair each one renting it and then going to another Fair.
Another reason the State Fair is famous Is because of all the rides. I recommend the scrambler. It spins around and around for about three minutes before stopping. It is definitely not as slow as a whirling teacup at Walt Disney World!
The State Fair happens every year in August, Signaling the end of summer. How many people go there every year. Some people go multiple times per year. If you have not yet attended the fair, you should definitely go up this year!
